Who is Your Authentic Self?
On August 29th I’m hosting a live event called “Rediscovering Your Authentic Self” – and I want to make sure it’s on your calendar. Have you registered for your free ticket yet?
To be honest, I never set out to become an “Authenticity Coach.”
In fact, all I really wanted to do when I started coaching was help people find better jobs that they actually enjoyed.
It wasn’t until recently, when I ran my small group program the Coaching Circle, that I started to see clearly that I’m actually in the “Authenticity Business.”
While the women who joined the program didn’t know each other, there was one thing they all knew very well:
They were stuck.
“Before joining the Coaching Circle, I could sense that I was not happy with my current working situation but it was difficult for me to put into words why I was unhappy. Without knowing the root of my unhappiness at work, I felt unsure of making any changes or decisions because I was afraid that my unhappiness would continue to follow me.”
As we began to gather for our calls, these brave, thoughtful women showed up and shared everything: their hopes and anxieties, their frustrations and their wins.
They connected with each other, and with themselves, through discussion and reflection. They started to dream and imagine a new way forward. And they practiced listening to their intuition and trusting their own wisdom:
“I had a lot of breakthroughs - it was helpful to spend time thinking deeply on different areas. I'm glad I had the designated time to focus on myself and step away from family and work responsibilities.”
“I am not alone in my feelings of being disconnected from joy or feeling like I lost my purpose. Truly having that sink in by hearing similar thoughts from different women has been a huge relief for me [and helped me know] that I am not adrift all by myself…this is normal and a part of life.”
By the end of our four months together, these women were transformed.
On the outside, they had started new jobs, received new recognition at work, and taken new action to reconnect with their authentic selves.
But the changes they experienced weren’t just on the outside. Internally, they tapped into new levels of self-confidence, a greater sense of agency and freedom, and a calmer acceptance of who they are at their most authentic.
“Though I don't think I had the words to articulate it in this way at that time, I came to this experience with the hope of discovering how to live a life more aligned to my authentic self.”
“I now feel empowered to make a change AND be confident in my choices as I look to shake up my career. The Coaching Circle has allowed me to regain a sense of agency and a trust with myself that I can make the right decisions for my career.”
[I learned] “I am enough. That I can feel comfortable with who I am, set the boundaries I need. That I can 'BE’ who I am and choose what I do so that I can remain centered.”
I’m telling you, I started the Coaching Circle because I personally felt called to ask and answer the deepest questions about myself and my life.
To reach deeper into my own Authentic Self.
And opening the experience up to share it with other women on the same journey has brought more joy, connection and fulfillment into my own life than I could have ever expected.
If your interest is piqued and you want to experience a Coaching Circle call for yourself, I would love to invite you to join my free, live event on August 29th.
