Welcome, 2018!

Happy New Year, wayfinders!

As we round the corner into 2018, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude and appreciation for all of you who have joined this wayfinding journey with me. If you had told me at start of 2017 that I'd close out the year by penning this note to all of you – I would have looked at you with wide-eyed disbelief! The world works in mysterious ways, they say, and boy – 2017 has been a mysterious year.

But mystery doesn't always have to have a bad rap; in fact mystery also brings with it new energy, wonder and curiosity for what might lie ahead. I can certainly say I am closing out 2017 feeling a lot more curious and energized about 2018 than I would have expected, and I'm eager to see what's in store for our community and the work we do together in the coming year.

If there's anything I've learned through my own wayfinding journey, it's that life is about putting one foot in front of the other, taking thoughtful yet brave steps, reaching out for support, and learning (always learning). Together, I hope that Wayfinders Collective becomes a kind of home base for all of us: helping us take those baby steps, find courage and community, and navigate our paths at work and in life – ultimately creating a place for ourselves that's authentic, meaningful and filled with joy.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your encouragement, support and feedback as I work to get Wayfinders Collective off the ground. It's truly a labor of love – and you make it all worth it!
