Sizing up the support you need

In different seasons of life, we focus on and prioritize different things. In the current season I’m in, I’m prioritizing my health.

I’ve been struggling with a long, and somewhat random, list of symptoms for a while now. Pinpointing the causes – not to mention how to manage my symptoms – has felt like being a mouse trapped in a maze. Around every corner, it seems, have been dead ends and wrong turns.

I’ve sought out help along the way: appointments with doctors, acupuncturists, integrative physicians. I’ve cut out all the potential triggering foods (like, seriously), and I’ve prioritized rest and stress reduction. I’ve replaced my air filters, bought new pillows, and attacked my dust bunnies with maniacal focus.

And yet, I’m still not seeing the results I want (ie: I still feel pretty crummy).

As I continue to suffer through these symptoms, it’s become clear that I can’t fix this problem on my own.

I need continued support. But what kind?

There are all sorts of options out there: health coaches, homeopaths, healers and more doctors. Different food plans and diets, a zillion different supplements, books and books and more books.

My task is to discern which one will best fit me, my needs and my goals.

Think about the changes or improvements you’re prioritizing in this season of your life.

  • Have you been going it alone?

  • Do you need support?

  • If so, what kind?

In truth – I think the trickiest part isn’t recognizing you need support. It’s knowing what kind of support will get you the results you desire.

Sometimes you only need “light-touch” support: books, self-study courses, information you can glean from a google search or YouTube video.

And sometimes you need more personalized advice and direction. Sometimes you need an outside perspective, access to subject matter expertise, and an actionable blueprint to follow.

What kind of support would be most helpful for you?

If you’re making career or life change, and you’d like my support to make it happen, here are a few ways I can help you:

  • My new reflection journal – focused on self-discovery and understanding – will help you explore who you are and what matters to you in this season of your life (light touch - only 3 copies left for pre-sale!)

  • My Mini Intensive Coaching Sessions – 3 hours of 1:1 coaching with me – will accelerate your clarity and confidence while mapping out your action plan for making a career change (medium support - due date to sign up is TODAY!)

  • Transformational 1:1 Coaching with me will enable you to deeply and creatively reconnect with your most authentic self, and to realign your work and life to support the fullest expression of that version of you (highest touch, and we can even add in a VIP weekend!)

Sometimes the challenge isn’t recognizing you need support. It’s discerning what kind of support you need to achieve the results you want.

It would be my privilege to be your support person – so get in touch if any of these options speak to you and we can chat more!

Onward,
