Introducing Wayfinders Collective – Again
I’ve been out of touch for a while now - out of touch with you, my fellow Wayfinders, but also out of touch with the practice of writing.
My absence hasn’t been one of neglect; in fact, I’d say it’s been the opposite. Since the last time I wrote - back in May - I’ve been a busy bee for sure. But not just busy; rather I’ve been purposefully “in the weeds.” Working on my business, working on myself, working on the practice of wayfinding.
Over the last five months, I’ve successfully completed my coaches training program with the Coaches Training Institute - 104 hours of learning, reflection, practice and growth, and I am immeasurably proud and grateful for the experience.
I’ve also begun to lay the foundation for the business of Wayfinders Collective. Some of this has been tactical - forming an LLC, opening up a bank account, finding an accountant. But a lot of this has been about vision and articulating what my gifts are and how I can best share them with others.
We often think of strategic planning or goal setting as a cursory to-do, something to check off our list. But going deep on how I want to serve and support the community of Wayfinders that we’re beginning to create has truly been work of the soul. It takes care and thoughtfulness to go below the surface and answer all those tough, ambiguous questions that really matter: What brings me joy? What can I offer? What is the impact that only I can have?
I’m incredibly proud to say that I’m on my way. Of course there are always details. And wow, it’s easy to get stuck in the details. But like grasping at a balloon string as it floats in the sky, I can feel that I’m tugging at something powerful and meaningful.
So today I’m pleased to share that Wayfinders Collective is officially open for business!
As a trained coach, I support individuals and organizations to figure out what matters, get unstuck, and make a plan to achieve their goals. With individual clients, this means tapping into your values and exploring what it looks like for you to feel fully alive and aligned – and then developing an action plan so you can make change that sticks. For organizations, it begins with understanding your team’s dynamics and goals, and then designing workshops, trainings and coaching sessions to fulfill those goals and nurture a happy, high-performing team.
And because I’m an experienced human-centered design instructor and practitioner, we’ll also always make room for creativity, play and post-its!
After many months of intentional and deep work, I can now say I love what I do. As a Wayfinder myself – someone who has struggled my entire career to find meaningful work – I know what a true miracle it is to say this! I would love to share what I have learned with you and explore how I can support you to do the same. Get in touch and we’ll find a time to talk – or better yet, schedule a free coaching call with me here!
In the meantime, I want to express my gratitude to all of you for your support of my work and of Wayfinders Collective. Thank you also for your enthusiasm and patience over the past few months. I’m really looking forward to what’s ahead.
More to come soon but for now – Onward,
